A couple tips to integrate vintage-inspired pieces without creating a prominent shabby-chic theme:
- Unsure about color matching? Look for neutral finishes and colors. Neutrals like cream, taupe, and beige are sometimes easier to transition into your current decor.
- Mix and mingle! For example, try using an ornate antique frame with contemporary artwork. Add a modern shade to a vintage lamp.
